Claremont Private Hospital announced today that it is now the official healthcare partner to the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Team.
This exciting joint venture will ensure that all Steelers players will receive rapid access to the best possible healthcare services from the moment they arrive, throughout the season until their departure. This will include diagnostic scanning such as MRI/x-ray/ultrasound through to fast access to expert consultants and surgery if required.
Mike O’Connor, Commercial Manager at the Steelers said “Our involvement with Claremont will add another step of professionalism to the way we deal with players at the club. On arrival, every player will undergo medical assessments and ECGs and throughout the season Claremont will be on hand to treat players immediately. It’s incredible for us to have that service, the quicker we can get injuries diagnosed and treated, the quicker the player can get back to full fitness.”
Andy Davey, Hospital Director at Claremont said “We are delighted to be the official healthcare partner to such a well known Sheffield team. We deal with a lot of sports professionals at Claremont and will be on hand throughout the forthcoming season to treat players as quickly as possible. We wish them a fantastic season too.”
Tony Smith, Steelers Owner said “We have used Claremont over the years and always found their service and professionalism outstanding. We believe our partnership will be mutually beneficial to both sides. I certainly have peace of mind that now our players will be looked after by the very best.”
