Claremont Endoscopy Unit celebrates new JAG accreditation
Staff at the Claremont Endoscopy Unit are celebrating after achieving the JAG (Joint Advisory Group) Accreditation Status in July 2018.
Created in 2005, the aim of the JAG accreditation QA standards is to support the achievement of high-quality, safe and appropriate endoscopy services. This prestigious accreditation is only awarded to endoscopy units who provide a high quality service for patients and provide clear evidence that they have met all of the JAG standards.
Claremont Private Hospital provides a welcoming environment with its £800,000 newly developed, self-contained Endoscopy Suite and procedure room which opened in June 2017. The unit is staffed by dedicated, endoscopy trained personnel and supported by a strong clinical and managerial team. The new unit currently undertakes around 2500 diagnostic endoscopy procedures per year and offers both private and NHS services.
