Claremont staff member raising money for local residential project
Nicola Manton, Services Director at Claremont Private Hospital is to take part in Bishop John Rawthorne’s sponsored walk in aid of St Wilfrid’s Centre in Sheffield who work tirelessly to support the homeless, vulnerable and socially excluded. She will be taking part in the 15 mile walk around the peak district on Friday 30 August 2013.
This is to raise money for St Wilfrid’s new residential project to build new accommodation where men and women can stay for up to 2 years whilst learning the work and life skills they need in order for them to achieve independence. This project will build on land close to the existing St Wilfrid’s Centre where they offer training in their workshops and a big programme of local activities, providing marginalised people with the “family” atmosphere and community they long for and deserve.
