Training & background:
Dr Andrzejowski is a Consultant in Anaesthesia & Neuro Intensive care at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, United Kingdom. He qualified from Sheffield University Medical School in 1989. His anaesthetic training took place in Sheffield and he has also worked in Australia, New Zealand & Canada.
He is a past president of the Neuroanaesthesia & Critical Care Society of Great Britain (NACCSGBI) and is an examiner for FRCA at the Royal College of Anaesthetists. He was a member of the NICE committees for CG65: Prevention of Inadvertent Perioperative Hypothermia in 2008 & 2016. He has published on fluid and perioperative warming.
His other interests include depth of anaesthesia monitoring and he has helped in the development of a preoperative assessment questionnaire (EPAQ-PO) that has resulted in shorter consultation times prior to surgery.
