- Inflammatory systemic conditions (PMR, vasculitis)
- Ankylosing spondylitis
- Psoriatic arthritis
- Arthritis associated with inflammatory bowel disease.
Training & background:
Dr Dunkley is a Consultant Rheumatologist at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, with a private practice at Claremont.
Dr Dunkley qualified from Manchester University (1996) and undertook general medical training in the UK and Australia. When she returned to the UK she trained in Rheumatology in London and Leeds and was appointed as a Consultant Rheumatologist in Sheffield in 2008.
Dr Dunkley’s clinical special interest lies in sero-negative spondyloarthropathies (ankylosing spondylitis/ psoriatic arthritis/ arthritis associated with inflammatory bowel disease) and she also have a wider interest in medical education.
Her research interest has been in selection of medical students & “widening participation”. Dr Dunkley continues to work closely with the medical school in Sheffield, and she is Training Programme Director for postgraduate Rheumatology trainees in South Yorkshire.
