Dr Kennish was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in 2012 with a special interest in uroradiological imaging and intervention.
Having qualified from the University of Manchester in 2002, Dr Kennish trained in Manchester and Leeds undertaking an Academy Fellowship in Uroradiology and Medical Education at St James’ University Hospital in Leeds, prior to his appointment in Sheffield. He is the undergraduate lead for radiology and coordinates and delivers a number of educational programmes with The University of Sheffield.
Dr Kennish is actively involved in national and international research projects on prostate and bladder cancer and has presented research at numerous national and international scientific conferences. He has written a number of scientific papers and contributed to major medical textbooks, including the Oxford Textbook of Clinical Nephrology. He was appointed Treasurer of the British Society of Urogenital Radiology in 2015.
