Miss Iman Azmy

Consultant Breast Surgeon

MB ChB, FRCS Ed, FRCS (Gen Surg), MD

Specialises in

I offer the full range of breast services from symptoms causing concern (ie breast lumps, breast pain) to cosmetic breast surgery such as breast augmentation/reduction or enlargement.

Having trained in Glasgow, Newcastle and North Trent, I also undertook three years in full-time research at the University of Sheffield investigating possible links between genetics and breast cancer. This work culminated in an award by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and winning the East midlands Surgical Society Prize.

I was one of the first candidates in the UK to be selected for a national oncoplastic fellowship.

I am a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

I also train junior breast surgeons and often give talks and seminars to educate and inform patients on issues related to breast cancer, breast awareness and breast reconstruction.
