‘I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Anderson, I had a partial knee replacement last year and have not look back since. I am 72 years old and look after my son who is disabled so need to be on my feet. After my operation I have not had any pain and can even kneel on my knee when I need to. Thank you so much.’ Mrs SS
‘I just wanted to send a quick email regarding the fantastic treatment and service I have received under the supervision of Mr Anderson and the staff at Claremont. I have recently had an operation (mid November 2014) to reconstruct my ACL and a meniscus repair in my right knee. The operation and aftercare have gone exceptionally well and I feel the professionalism of all the staff at the hospital should be commented on. Everyone working at Claremont that I have had dealings with (including yourself) have been extremely helpful, upbeat and genuinely pleased to be working there. Mr Anderson has been informative and shown empathy to my situation on consultations and has performed an operation which is, in my view, life changing. This has allowed me to continue fully in my work and sporting pursuits.’ Mr N A, Sheffield
‘I just wanted to let you know that I think Mr Anderson was absolutely excellent and I’m very pleased I came to see him’. Mrs T, Sheffield
‘I have recently had replacement knee surgery. My surgeon was Mr A J Anderson. I would like to express my appreciation of the care and treatment given to me whilst at the hospital. I would recommend Mr Anderson and his team who gave me 100% attention and made me feel very relaxed during my operation. I am pleased with the success of my knee replacement and am definitely feeling the benefits’. Mrs G, Sheffield
‘After years of having cortisone injections and pain killers in my knee unable to climb up and down stairs without pain, I was recommended to Mr J A Anderson for surgery and he suggested a Patellofemoral (partial) Knee Replacement. Just 12 days after the procedure I was walking unaided. After 4 weeks I was walking without limping and could flex the knee through 90 degrees, walk up and down stairs, after 3 months it was just like I had not had a operation, now my life is great.’ Mrs MD, Sheffield
‘Just been to see Mr Anderson for my 6 week check up, what a man changed my life, and thanks the Physios for all their help, and to everyone there for being so kind, thanks again.’ Mr PBS, Sheffield
‘I feel my surgery has been effective and for the past week, I have been skiing almost every day. Thanks very much to my surgical team & Mr Anderson who clearly did a great job.’ Ms MM, Sheffield
‘I just wanted to say how impressed I have been with the experience I have had. The information pre op, through the actual procedure, to the aftercare has been first class. I would definitely recommend everyone there, and in particular Mr Anderson who clearly is the man!’ Mr JW, Sheffield
‘I would like to say how grateful I am with the care I received. Many thanks to you all – Mr Anderson, the surgical team, the nursing staff who are kind and reassuring, and I would also like to thank the Physio team. You are all stars.’ AA, Sheffield
‘Thank you for the excellent care I received during my stay. All the staff were excellent, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists & particularly Mr Anderson, my surgeon for his skill in what was not a straight forward knee replacement. Many thanks again.’ BB, Sheffield
‘Please can you convey my thanks to Mr A Anderson. He saw my son in November with a knee football injury and recommended conservative management. Yesterday my son completed a half marathon in a good time. Thanks again for Mr Anderson’s excellent advice.’ MA, Sheffield
‘I would like to say a big thank you to all involved in my two stays at the Claremont. Everyone from the receptionists, nurses and follow up physio staff all really friendly and did a great job of making me feel relaxed both before and after my ops. My consultant Mr Anderson advised me to have PFAs (Patellofemoral Athroplasty or Partial Knee Replacement) rather than full knee replacements and he certainly knows his job. After years of taking naproxen and paracetamol three times daily and still not getting any relief I am now very pleased to say I am pain and medication free and feeling ‘normal’ again. I cannot praise the Claremont enough. I have just seen Mr Anderson today for my last check up and as always he was a gentleman and I am extremely grateful to him and the staff there.’ Thanks again Mrs JM
I am writing to express my sheer gratitude on how you have personally took control of my inability to walk, constant pain, and I believe given me my life back. For over 2 years my knee has rapidly declined to the point where I could hardly walk and was in agonising pain. You finally gave me a reason to smile again and I felt like I may have the chance to get my life back on track. I am so pleased to say that only 8 weeks after the operation I am pain free and walking normally again. I cannot express how well I feel both emotionally and physically, especially now as I’m getting a good night’s sleep. Please accept my thanks and gratitude to you Dr Anderson for understanding and listening and for conducting the operation with minimal pain and scarring. JH
‘I am very impressed with Mr Anderson. When I met him, I explained that I wanted to return to a pain free outdoor oriented life. He was extremely positive and explained the options open to me, one of which was to have two, half knee replacements. I have now had both done and the results are life changing. I recovered quickly and have suffered no negatives at all. I am very grateful to Mr Anderson and his team and would strongly recommend him. As my physio assured me, he is a forward thinking and very talented surgeon.’ Mr JG
‘Having been recommended Claremont Private Hospital by a previous patient, Mr Anderson seemed an obvious choice. Throughout the whole process from assessment, operation and follow up, Mr Anderson was thorough, informative and understanding. His personal approach ensures you are aware of what all the potential options and outcomes could be so an individual decision can be made. In my case, he has not only restored my knee to being pain free but has actually given me back a functional life. My only regret is I had not consulted Mr Anderson earlier to save six months of excruciating discomfort and reduced quality of life. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Anderson to address any knee problem.’ Mr KD
