  • Prostate problems (benign and prostate cancer)
  • Endourology and stone disease
  • Investigation of haematuria
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs) and incontinence
  • Management of scrotal pain and lumps
  • Circumcision and erectile dysfunction including (Peyronie’s disease)

Training & background:

M Boucher is a Consultant Urologist at Royal Hallamshire Hospital, with a private practice at Claremont.

Mr Nigel Boucher qualified from Birmingham Medical School in July 1987. He completed his general surgical and urological training in and around Sheffield. He was appointed Consultant Urological Surgeon at Chesterfield Royal Hospital in January 1998. He took up his current post in Sheffield from September 2017 offering a high quality, consultant led service to patients of South Yorkshire & North Derbyshire.

Mr Boucher sees many patients with general urological problems including managing patients with prostate cancer, bladder cancer, lower urinary tract symptoms and haematuria. He manages patients with scrotal pathology including scrotal pain/prostatitis and performs the majority of his procedures as day cases. He carries out investigative procedures for men and women with lower urinary tract sympthoms including Flexible Cystoscopy.

Mr Boucher’s sub-specialist interest is in endourology and stone disease and he offers all aspects of stone treatment including Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWL), Ureteroscopy and Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL).
