Training & background:
Mr Carr is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary with a private practice at Claremont.
He graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School. His higher surgical training took place on the Leeds and Sheffield training programmes during which he undertook research which culminated in a MD higher research degree. After completing his training he undertook two prestigious fellowships in Toronto, Canada, working at both Toronto General Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children.
He sees patients with general ENT problems with a subspecialist interest in otology (conditions of the ear,) neuro-otology (conditions of the inner ear e.g. dizziness,) hearing implantation including cochlear implantation and tumours affecting the lateral skull base e.g. acoustic neuroma.
